Join the Inner Trackers

Join Inner Trackers, the community behind Tracking Triggers: From Reactivity to Responsiveness, to explore emotional tracking, conflict resolution, and personal growth through exclusive early content and insights from author John Ford.

What Inner Trackers Are

The Inner Trackers are a small community reading Tracking Triggers before launch and helping shape how this book enters the world.

Some are professional practitioners—mediators, coaches, therapists—who work with conflict and emotion daily. Others are curious readers drawn to understanding their own reactive patterns. What unites everyone is genuine interest in tracking emotional triggers rather than being controlled by them.

You'll receive chapters as they're finalized and updates when new journal posts go live, with the complete manuscript arriving about a month before launch.

What You'll Receive

  • Chapters as they're finalized (typically weekly, sometimes with more time between)

  • Thought-provoking emails from the editing process—questions about language, metaphors, and framing (roughly one per chapter)

  • Complete manuscript about 4 weeks before public launch

  • Optional invitation to share your honest response when the book goes live

What's Expected

Nothing beyond reading if and when you can.

There's no obligation to finish, no requirement to provide feedback, and no expectation of a review. This is an invitation to engage with the work before it enters the world—on your terms.

If something strikes you—a question, confusion, a moment that lands—I'm listening. But silence is fine too.

Who This Is For

The Inner Trackers are for anyone who:

  • Gets triggered and wants to understand why

  • Overreacts and regrets it, or gets stuck in the same conflicts despite best intentions

  • Works with conflict professionally (mediation, coaching, therapy, organizational development)

  • Practices emotional awareness through NVC, mindfulness, or similar frameworks

  • Wants to go deeper with understanding reactive patterns and conscious response

You don't need credentials or expertise. You need curiosity and willingness to track alongside the work as it develops.
